Tips to crack SSC CGL EXAM 2018

Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC CGL Exam every year and it is the most sought exam as it offers officer level job to graduates in government departments. it is a competitive exam and needs lot of practice and hard work.

SSC CGL examination which offers an opportunity to  more than 25 lakh students to get a central government jobs these include jobs in income tax customs excise Ministries external affairs at the both Inspector and officer level which are also prestigious jobs directly under the IAS officers in the central government. These jobs are specified on the basis of grade that comes in the SSC CGL examination conducted by SSC and select the candidates on the basis of their score in the SSC CGL exam. SSC CGL 2018 exam is one of the biggest exams been conducted in India and is taken by more than 30 lakh students every year to get a job in central government. The level of questions asked is higher secondary based which is easy and thus more candidates apply for this exam.

  1. Learn short cuts and tricks to solve the lengthy questions especially mathematics calculation. Complex calculations with conventional methods take more time than mental maths technique. Master the tricks by practicing more than 50 questions on each trick you learn. It will improve your speed of solving the questions.
  2. Learn vocabulary and maintain a list of words which you found to be difficult rather than mugging up the dictionary.
  3. Take professional guidance from the one who has already appeared in SSC CGL Exam and qualified it too. It will give you first- hand experience and you can follow the tips given by them.
  4. Take regular practice tests on the topics of mathematics and solve them using shortcut tricks.
  5. Vocabulary should be learned by means of visuals or root words to retain it for a longer time. It is the best way to learn new words.
  6. General Studies section should be prepared keeping NCERT Books as resource books to get the authentic reasons of the facts you are learning.
  7. Important sections of mathematics are algebra quantitative aptitude trigonometry geometry mensuration and graphs. Prepare them well to score high. Mathematics is a scoring section which entirely depends on your practice and learning.
